Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation for 15 days in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in tanks as well, and matures for 12 months in French and American oak barrels and another 12 months in the bottle. The wine is fined with egg-whites and is only slightly filtered prior to bottling.
Appearance: Cherry red color with garnet rim.
Nose: Fresh fruit jumps out of the glass and is married with the pleasant aroma of fine wood, sweet spices and vanilla.
Palate: More fresh strawberries harmonized with vanilla, caramel, and a hint of liquorice. Very persistent finish, follows you around like a shadow.
