Varietals: 100% Tempranillo (Tinta del País)
Production: 10.600 bottles
Vinification: Vines are grown in Ribera del Duero on slopes oriented to the South The vines are trained in Gobelet (Poda en Vaso) style. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentations occur in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. The wine is matured in American oak barriques for 30 months in a subterranean cellar at 54 degrees. Once bottled, the wine remains in the cellar until released to market.
Appearance: Deep pillory red color delicately transitioning to a garnet rim.
Nose: Very aromatic, deep and complex, with discrete minerals and a sense of liquorice and chocolate.
Palate: The wine fills the palate and is extremely expressive. Still has refreshing acidity along with chocolate, leather, all the secondary notes you'd expect, and the finish is very deep and long.
